Don’t wren your garments. Reach for Jesus…

When we’re faced with our most difficult times in life, i.e., the loss of a job, the loss of a loved one, an attack from our enemies, a humiliating circumstance, or a mountain of debts with no way out, don’t tear your garments. Jesus already tore the veil when He went to the cross. That means that He went through hell – literally and figuratively, so we won’t have to. Now is the time to change your perspective..

The Woman with the Issue of Blood

Ever feel ostracized or like an outsider? Ever feel like your best still isn’t good enough? In the New Testament, there was a woman who had been sick for a number of years and she was embarrassed. She was also considered unclean because she had been bleeding for so long. She knew somehow, that if she could just get to Jesus and reach for his garments, she would be healed. It may have been that she was too far back in the crowd to touch Him, but she may have thought if she could lunge forward and touch something close to him…it would be enough. It was more than enough. Jesus knew that someone touched him by faith, so heresponded to her need and healed her. So what does this mean to you and your situation? Who is making you feel less than or not good enough? Whose report do you believe?

Is there anything too hard for God?

One thing that helps is having hope. Hope that God will fix your situation. Hope that He will bring healing. Hope that you haven’t made a complete mess of your life. Have hope. Think about a time when you went through a similar challenge? Maybe you remember being in your early twenties and you were fired from your first job – you probably thought the world was going to end then, too. Maybe it was in your teens when you were in love for the first time and thought you would just die because your love interest rejected you, and made you take their jacket off or give their ring back. Ultimately, the most important thing to remember is that you can get through this if you focus on the answer. All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord…

God has made an escape, a window…

No matter what the problem is, God has already made a way out. Remember, He’s all-knowing and all-powerful, and there’s lots of great stuff in the Bible, too, about God making the end from the beginning? So that means He’s already seen the solution – uhh, that means He’s seen and knows your solution. You guessed it...He knows the way out. He has the key, the map, the cure, the answer and all you have to do is call on Jesus.

Don’t wren your garments…Jesus already tore the veil

In the middle of your trial, don’t wren your garments. Wren means to tear, so anyone in the Bible who tore their garments was in essence, giving up. No, don’t give up, but give it over…to God in prayer. Because God has the solution, all you have to do is ask – Really. That mountain of bills – Just ask God for an increase in your finances. He’s the ultimate debt counselor. That sickness – Guess who made you? God did. Guess who has the cure. Not Rite-Aid and not United Healthcare, but Jesus…

All you have to do is ask…

Jesus said in the New Testament that all we have to do is ask. Ask for healing. Ask for victory. Ask for a break, a vacation, a sign, a helper, a cookie, a day off, a hug, a window, whatever you need…Ask for whatever you need and know that God has it for you. Jesus, in talking to His disciples was trying to build their faith. Remember, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That means your answer is tied to having hope and faith that God will make the way. When you hope for what you can see and ask God in Jesus name to help you, trust God. Jesus showed the disciples through tests. He took fish and bread and made it multiply. He turned water into wine. He calmed a storm at sea…and spoiler alert if you haven’t read the New Testament: He rose from the dead!

No matter what you’re going through, God will never leave you nor forsake you. See the outcome you want: the healing, the bills paid, you smiling at the beach, you working in a new job as a successful, healthy, happy and healed child of the Most High God. Whatever you need, God has the answer. Just ask…

Prayer for deliverance:

Father God in the name of Jesus, I come to you and first and foremost confess all sins that my prayer might be heard. I praise you because you are the Most High God and you’re worthy to be praised. I enter into your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise. Lord, you know my need and my circumstance. Jesus said whatever I need, to ask for it and believe I have received it and it shall be mine. I’m asking for —-. I know in the word you said to ask, seek and knock. I also know you are a covenant God and I am your child and I will have victory in Jesus name because I trust you and have hope for you to deliver me from this situation. (Even if you don’t feel this yet, speak it to make it manifest and send angels on assignment). I praise you for the victory and for delivering me. My heart is fixed on you and I know you will deliver me and I will give you the glory, in Jesus name, amen.

God loves you and He will help you and deliver you…

Trust God and know He will make the way. He won’t let your foot slip. It is written, touch not mine anointed nor do my prophets harm. That means don’t go by what you see the enemy trying to do or what the doctor’s report says and what your bills look like, but trust God and ask Him to fix it and bring correction. All we have to do is ask. We pray God blesses you today with favor, mercy, grace and a reason to smile again. Have hope for the future and a brighter tomorrow!
